Tell Your Story on a Documentary Special

Chicago-based 20 West Productions is currently developing a one-hour documentary special about OCD for a well-respected cable network. For the documentary, they would like to follow three individuals, documenting their symptoms and following them through the treatment process. In keeping with the high quality, non-exploitive programming this network known for, their goal is to provide a medically accurate portrait of this disorder by using personal stories of life with OCD.

The production company is currently looking for adult women and men who would be willing to invite cameras into their lives for about a week’s time. They would prefer to focus on some people from the Chicago area, but this is not at all a requirement. The production is tentatively scheduled for Fall 2009 with a probable airdate of Spring 2010. They are also looking to hear people’s compelling personal stories of life with OCD, which we would include for background information.
