New Drug Testing for Children with OCD

Australian researchers are studying whether an antibiotic normally used to treat tuberculosis can help children with obsessive compulsive disorder.

Dr. Lara Farrell, a child psychologist specializing in anxiety, depression and OCD at Griffith University, said “This drug offers hope to the children who have severe OCD and have tried anti-depressants and therapy alone.”
